Clear understanding of all BJ’s Membership options, including the importance of renewals and upgrading to BJ’s Loyalty programs
Ability to provide a high level of customer service to Members
Ability to check Members out in a timely and efficient manner
Proficiency in scanning all club merchandise through a point-of-sale system to ensure accurate inventory counts and purchase totals
Capability to fill shopping carts when necessary and assist Members
Commitment to maintaining a friendly and positive attitude
Ability to work as a team to achieve goals, embrace inclusion and diversity, and ensure a safe and positive environment
Understanding of how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department
Responsibilities
Process Member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering several types of membership products
Scan merchandise and accept various forms of payments
Provide excellent member service in an efficient and productive manner
Maintain the overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Offer all appropriate membership products such as membership renewal, EASY renewal option, BJ’s Loyalty programs, and Rewards redemption
Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, support club policies, procedures, and compliance
Act with honesty and integrity, lead with the member in mind, address concerns, and escalate as appropriate
Deliver service excellence through all points of contact, resolve and deescalate member concerns
Commit to GOLD Member Standards: Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA)
Deliver GOLD club standards daily, including Grand opening look, all items stocked, promotional plans executed, visible accurate signage, clean and organized inside and out
