Requirements

Clear understanding of all BJ’s Membership options, including the importance of renewals and upgrading to BJ’s Loyalty programs
Ability to process member purchases courteously and friendly, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products
Ability to scan merchandise through a point-of-sale system for accurate inventory counts and purchase totals
Ability to provide excellent member service in an efficient and productive manner
Ability to maintain the overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Commitment to club policies, procedures, compliance, honesty, integrity, safety, inclusion, diversity, teamwork, speed, agility, innovation, and maintaining a friendly/positive attitude
Daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and Club Standards (Grand opening look, stocked items, promotional plans, accurate signage, clean/organized)
Understanding of how to access and read production/financial performance reporting for the department

Responsibilities

Process member purchases, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products, scanning merchandise, and accepting various forms of payment
Provide high level of customer service, checking members out in a timely and efficient manner
Offer appropriate membership products such as renewals, EASY renewal option, BJ’s Loyalty programs, and Rewards redemption
Fill shopping carts when necessary and assist members
Maintain overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Carry out job functions as assigned and support club policies/procedures/compliance
Act with honesty/integrity, lead with member in mind, address/escalate concerns, ensure safe/positive environment
Embrace inclusion/diversity, collaborate respectfully, work as a team to achieve goals
Deliver service excellence, resolve/deescalate member concerns
Work to deliver GOLD club standards daily with commitment and pride
