Requirements

Clear understanding of all BJ’s Membership options, including the importance of renewals and upgrading to BJ’s Loyalty programs
Ability to process member purchases courteously and friendly, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products
Ability to scan merchandise through a point-of-sale system for accurate inventory counts and purchase totals
Ability to provide high level of customer service, check out members timely and efficiently, fill shopping carts when necessary, and assist members
Maintain overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Carry out job functions with honesty, integrity, speed, agility, and a friendly positive attitude
Support club policies, procedures, compliance, and GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate)
Work as a team, embrace inclusion and diversity, ensure safe and positive environment

Responsibilities

Process member purchases, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products
Scan all club merchandise through point-of-sale system and ensure accurate inventory counts and purchase totals
Provide excellent member service efficiently and productively
Offer appropriate membership products such as renewals, EASY renewal option, BJ’s Loyalty programs, and Rewards redemption
Check members out in a timely and efficient manner, fill shopping carts when necessary, and assist members
Maintain cleanliness of the front-line department
Deliver service excellence, resolve and deescalate member concerns
Uphold GOLD club standards: Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean; Grand opening look daily; stock items, execute promotional plans, maintain signage, keep organized
Access and read production/financial performance reporting for the department
