Ability to provide a high level of customer service to Members
Skills in processing Member purchases courteously and friendly, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products
Proficiency in scanning merchandise through a point-of-sale system for accurate inventory counts and purchase totals
Capability to maintain the overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Commitment to acting with honesty, integrity, and leading with the member in mind
Ability to ensure a safe and positive environment, embrace inclusion and diversity, and work collaboratively as a team
Maintenance of a friendly and positive attitude with speed and agility
Understanding of how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department
Responsibilities
Process Member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering several types of membership products
Scan merchandise and accept various forms of payments
Provide excellent member service in an efficient and productive manner
Offer all appropriate membership products such as membership renewal, EASY renewal option, BJ’s Loyalty programs, and Rewards redemption
Check Members out in a timely and efficient manner
Fill shopping carts when necessary and assist Members
Maintain the overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, support club policies, procedures, and compliance
Deliver service excellence, resolve and deescalate member concerns, and commit to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate)
Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, including grand opening look, stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining visible accurate signage, and keeping areas clean and organized
