Clear understanding of all BJ’s Membership options, including the importance of renewals and upgrading to BJ’s Loyalty programs
Ability to process member purchases courteously and friendly, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products
Ability to scan merchandise through a point-of-sale system accurately
Ability to accept various forms of payments
Ability to provide excellent member service efficiently and productively
Ability to maintain cleanliness of the front-line department

Responsibilities

Process member purchases, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products
Scan all club merchandise through a point-of-sale system for accurate inventory and purchase totals
Accept various forms of payments
Provide high level of customer service and check out members in a timely and efficient manner
Offer appropriate membership products such as renewals, EASY renewal option, BJ’s Loyalty programs, and Rewards redemption
Fill shopping carts when necessary and assist members
Maintain overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Carry out job functions as assigned and support club policies, procedures, and compliance
Deliver service excellence, resolve and deescalate member concerns
Ensure safe and positive environment for members and team
Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining signage, and keeping areas clean and organized
