Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in biotech/pharma sales
  • Territory Ownership: Preferred experience as a rep with sole ownership of the territory
  • Specialty Experience: Preferred experience in cardiology, rare diseases, or specialty products.
  • Launch Experience: Preferred experience with specialty product launches.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance: Deliver sales results and operate autonomously within the assigned territory.
  • Account Planning: Develop territory-specific account plans to identify and prioritize opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work synergistically with internal teams (medical, payer, patient navigation/support) and external customers (IDNs, hospitals, cardiology clinics, specialty pharmacies).
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for customers, providing clinically relevant information about the product and disease.
  • Demand Generation: Communicate approved resources (marketing materials, payer information, formulary coverage, patient support services, educational programs) to healthcare professionals to drive demand for the product launch.
  • Patient Focus: Focus on creating demand for the product launch with the goal of benefiting HCM patients.
