Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in biotech/pharma sales is required.
  • Territory Ownership: Experience as a rep with sole ownership of the territory is highly preferred.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Cardiology, rare disease, or specialty product experience is preferred.
    • Specialty product launch experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance: Deliver sales results and operate autonomously within the assigned territory.
  • Account Planning: Develop territory-specific account plans to identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities to meet customer needs.
  • Integrated Field Team Coordination: Coordinate the efforts of a local integrated field team (medical, payer, and patient navigation/support colleagues).
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert and resource to customers, providing clinically relevant disease and product information.
  • Demand Generation: Communicate approved resources to healthcare professionals (HCPs) to create demand for the product launch, including marketing materials, payer information, formulary coverage, and patient support services.
  • Relationship Building: Identify and develop business relationships with strategic IDNs (Integrated Delivery Networks) and Hospitals, cardiology clinics, and specialty pharmacies.
