Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Results: Achieve sales targets and operate autonomously within the assigned territory.
  • Account Management: Serve as the single point of accountability for the successful launch of the product within the territory.
  • Territory Planning: Develop territory-specific account plans, identifying, assessing, and prioritizing opportunities to meet customer needs.
  • Integrated Field Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (medical, payer, patient navigation/support) to coordinate efforts and support customers.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for customers, providing clinically relevant disease and product information.
  • Demand Generation: Create demand for the product launch by effectively communicating approved resources to healthcare professionals (HCPs). These resources include:
    • Marketing materials
    • Payer information
    • Formulary coverage
    • Patient support services
    • Educational programs

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in biotech/pharma sales required.
  • Territory Ownership: Experience as a rep with sole ownership of the territory is highly preferred.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Cardiology, rare disease, or specialty product experience preferred.
    • Specialty product launch experience preferred.
