Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement. They should have experience in like commodities such as Conveyors, Lifts, Robotics, Automation Controls, and Material Handling Systems, along with knowledge of the related supply base. Furthermore, a minimum of 3 years of detailed experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP, is required, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

The Buyer (Warranty) will manage all warranty and return claims from customer sites, issue return POs, track notifications, and ensure timely resolution. They will also negotiate warranty terms and repair contracts with suppliers of automation equipment, lead supplier recovery efforts by securing credits or repairs, identify and onboard repair partners, partner with various teams to resolve issues, streamline warranty and repair workflows, and maintain accurate purchase item data. Finally, they will optimize total cost of ownership and on-time delivery through planning and control of automation-related activities.
