Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, and between 2 and 4 years of experience in procurement, process operations, or approvals, with a comprehensive understanding of the full purchase order lifecycle from creation to payment. Additionally, candidates are expected to have 2-4 years of experience leading or supporting process improvements within a large, cross-functional organization, and 1-2 years of experience presenting to senior leaders. Strong data fluency, including proficiency in Excel and Power BI, is required, alongside a practical, business-first mindset focused on outcomes such as margin, risk reduction, and inventory efficiency.
As a Senior Procurement Manager (Approvals), you will evaluate and approve a high volume of purchase orders for both domestic and international vendors, serving as the key decision-maker on complex and high-value orders. You will analyze historical and forward-looking data using tools like Power BI and Excel to assess risk, enhance profit margins, and optimize inventory levels, proactively identifying trends and inefficiencies in buying behaviors. You will collaborate with Merchandising, Planning, and Finance teams to address root causes and implement lasting solutions, acting as a central point of contact between key departments to ensure a seamless PO submission and approval process. Furthermore, you will champion best practices by developing and maintaining robust documentation, onboard and coach new team members, and provide expert guidance on workflow optimization, generating and analyzing reports on PO approval trends, Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance, and identified risks to inform strategic business decisions.
