Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial lines underwriting or operations and at least 5 years of experience configuring and updating insurance policy administration systems. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, is required, along with an entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrated experience in managing teams effectively. Expertise in information systems design, implementation, security, and troubleshooting within the insurance industry is essential, as is the ability to handle multiple tasks and provide project management capabilities.
The Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to define system and workflow requirements, proposing efficient solutions aligned with insurance industry standards. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining configurable information systems, managing system-related issues, conducting audits, and facilitating program transitions from acquired companies. The role also involves providing project management updates, leading support resources for pre- and post-bind activities such as endorsements, policy validation, audit file completeness, premium finance processes, bordereau delivery, inspections, and surplus lines filing.
