Experience with infrastructure regulatory matters, including technical training and participation in Data Center negotiations with community groups and policy organizations, is required. Semiconductor expertise concerning the impact of public policies, incentives, and trade agreements on AI compute availability and global supply chains is also necessary, along with prior experience collaborating across internal teams like infrastructure, legal, communications, GTM, finance, and partnerships to develop coordinated strategies. Strong communication skills to engage diverse audiences, flexibility, exceptional judgment, and integrity are essential.
The Infrastructure Policy & Partnerships Specialist will support OpenAI's infrastructure goals by developing policy proposals, collaborating with third-party industry and advocacy organizations, and communicating with regulators and government officials. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between policy strategy, GTM, finance, security, technical deployment, and OpenAI's values. Responsibilities include project management, internal coordination, organizational collaboration, and thought leadership, with a focus on AI infrastructure public policies and partnerships. The specialist will also engage in developing frameworks for responsible infrastructure growth and synthesizing information to analyze policy data and communicate findings.
