Requirements

  • 4-year undergraduate degree from a top school (preferably in a quantitative field such as Business, Economics, Engineering, or related)
  • 1-3 years of experience in strategic roles such as management consulting, business operations, private equity, investment banking, or in a fast-growing startup
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and drive them independently, with a focus on results
  • Strong ability to analyze business data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights. Excel and PowerPoint proficiency is a must
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and execute with attention to detail
  • Ability to think critically and strategically to solve complex problems and optimize business operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders across different teams
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Based in SF or willing to re-locate; in-person role
  • Familiarity with complex datasets, modeling, and reporting
  • Previous experience in a high-growth or rapidly scaling organization
  • SQL or data visualization tool experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute strategic projects that drive business outcomes across multiple functions, helping Zip scale operations effectively
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the business to implement strategic initiatives and ensure alignment on key business objectives
  • Design new business processes “zero-to-one” and optimize existing processes and systems for “one-to-ten” improvements in operational efficiency and scalability
  • Analyze operational data, identify trends and pain points, and provide actionable insights to improve business performance
  • Work directly with senior leadership to creatively identify and capture the business’ biggest opportunities
  • Drive change management initiatives, helping teams adapt to new tools, systems, and processes
