Position Overview

As a Business Intelligence Consultant Leader, you will become a subject matter expert for the DACH region. You will play a crucial role in coordinating people, managing processes and technology, and building high-performing teams. Your objective is to help evolve and transform the region’s Business Intelligence organization to become lead and revenue-generating, while upskilling associates to become BI consultants.


Your Future Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert for your assigned region, staying current with the client's operating environment.
  • Be accountable for creating a high-performing team, owning hiring, performance management, and ensuring associates have opportunities for continued career growth.
  • Lead a variety of client engagements for BI that result in the generation of incremental revenue, playing a critical role in achieving annual incremental revenue targets.
  • Ensure client work is delivered on time, according to specifications, and without errors, aiming to under-promise and over-deliver.
  • Create and execute a strategic roadmap for your vertical, proactively seeking opportunities and weighing risks to enhance client value.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues and customers, investing time in strategic networking.
  • Partner with leadership on the development of new BI products & services.
  • Achieve committed cost savings goals and ensure the practice of "Right Work in the Right Place" with the Growth Centers team.
  • Identify opportunities for increased partnership across NIQ teams.
  • Actively participate in the account planning process.
  • Be mission-driven and passionate about serving a purpose and driving value for client businesses.
  • Stay aware of market conditions and the client business environment.

Your Profile

  • 5 years of experience building complex BI solutions, including one or more of the following: Discover / 3rd party BI dashboards & reports, data warehouses, ETL processes, etc.
  • Fluency in German and English is a must.
  • Deep familiarity with the portfolio of NIQ or GFK products and services is preferable.
  • Knowledgeable in business intelligence, data, and analytics concepts.
  • Comfortable leading a wide range of client engagements, including requirements gathering sessions, quarterly business reviews, status and delivery meetings, and other assigned engagement types.
  • Motivated, self-starter who operates autonomously under ambiguous conditions; not afraid to push for clarity and hold people accountable.
  • Skilled at building networks and leading by influence, using delegation effectively to get things done – manages up, down, and across.
  • Expertise in leading large, complex, transformative projects; well-versed in the practical application of project management concepts.
  • Familiar with working with onshore and Global associates, including Growth Centers.
