Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Medical Science, Nursing, Pharmacy/Pharmacology, Biotechnology, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in medical equipment or pharmaceutical industry
  • Familiarity with Malaysia’s public and private healthcare/hospital system is an advantage
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, results-driven, commercially savvy, articulate, confident, and with a pleasant personality
  • Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently with a positive attitude; proactive, reliable, and responsible
  • Comfortable managing tight timelines and challenging demands, while remaining motivated by the rewarding nature of the role
  • Possesses own transport and willing to travel outstation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell medical equipment, consumable products to government, private and NGO sectors, able to develop long term business relationship with existing and potential clients
  • Work closely with other departments eg. Marketing, Clinical etc to achieve set objectives
  • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate resources through liaison with clinical, technical and sales teams within Fresenius Medical Care
  • Initiate, coordinate and execute funding applications for patients
  • Participate in offering service contracts to customers and responsible for Tenders, ensuring our response is professional and attractive
  • Maintain highly respected relationships, within & outside the organization
  • Regularly gather market insights and competitors’ activities
  • Provide monthly report and sales forecast to the Business Manager on all your sales activities
  • Manage other administrative tasks that will be assigned based on the business and department needs from time to time (inventory, database, competitor analysis among other key tasks)
  • Any other tasks, support and territories as deemed required
