Business Development Sales Manager

RingCentral is seeking a talented and driven Business Development Sales Manager to lead one of our Business Development Representative (BDR) teams. Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 8-10 Business Development Representatives (BDRs) supporting a pure-outbound-hunting cross-segment sales team.
- Onboard, coach, and mentor BDRs to develop professional account penetration expertise.
- Run weekly dashboards and reports to review performance with BDR leadership.
- Provide mentorship and training on utilizing sales technologies such as LinkedIn, Zoominfo, Outreach, Connect&Sell, Alyce, Regie.AI, and Salesforce to drive pipeline.
- Align with sales segment Directors, VPs, and AVPs to optimize BDR activities and pipeline generation.
- Enable BDRs to generate in excess of $1.5M+ in pipeline (90-day rolling) from outbound activities.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel across marketing, operations, sales, and channel departments.
- Recruit, educate, and nurture the team to ensure ongoing success and career progression.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate opportunities generated by the team.
- Perform weekly/monthly audits to ensure the quality of opportunities.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of BDR/SDR or related sales experience.
- 1-3 years in a Leadership role.
- Salesforce.com experience is strongly preferred, including management of data, dashboard management, and reporting.
- BS/BA or equivalent education and proven experience.
Essential Skills

- Prior experience in an outbound prospecting role and 2+ years leading a purely outbound prospecting BDR team.
- Strong time management, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and collaborative selling skills.
- Ability to set a positive example for BDRs in character, commitment, selling skills, and work habits.
- Results-oriented leader focused on defining and achieving performance objectives.
- B2B selling / Software / SaaS experience preferred.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to coach team members on navigating large corporate structures (C-Level, Subsidiaries, Divisions).
- Experience with large business end customers.
- Excellent oral and written communication, listening, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convey and relate ideas, including conducting effective 1:1s and KPI reviews.
- Self-starter with a history of excellent decision-making, planning, and execution.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Ability to excel in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or Google Workspace suite).
