Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of Business Development experience with SaaS sales and experience managing a large number of accounts while working cohesively with Account Executives. Proficiency with sales tools such as Hubspot, Zoominfo, Salesforce, LinkedIn, and Outreach is required, along with the ability to communicate with C-level executives via phone and email. Empathy, positive energy, comfort with process and ambiguity, and the ability to explain ideas and processes to business decision-makers are also essential.
Business Development Representatives will identify potential customers, build relationships, and generate new business opportunities by researching market trends, creating sales strategies, and presenting proposals to increase revenue. They will collaborate with Marketing and Sales to secure introductory meetings, nurture prospect relationships, and engage them through multi-channel outreach. Responsibilities also include sharing customer success stories, developing a deep understanding of buyer personas, and reporting data insights to leadership for campaign improvements.
