Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, and 1-3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development within the cloud native, cybersecurity, or devops industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with proficiency in using CRM systems like HubSpot CRM or Salesforce, and other sales enablement tools. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills are also necessary, as well as self-motivation and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, products, and services is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

As a Business Development Representative, the role involves prospecting and identifying potential clients in the security sales market using various lead generation techniques, conducting thorough research on prospects to understand their needs, generating a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads, qualifying leads, scheduling meetings and product demos for the sales team, collaborating with the sales team on strategies, maintaining accurate CRM records, staying current on industry trends, and providing feedback to marketing and product teams. The BDR will also attend sales training and team meetings to continuously improve skills and product knowledge.
