ScienceLogic is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their growing team. The BDR will be responsible for outbound prospecting and supporting the field sales teams. The role focuses on metric-driven prospecting efforts and opportunity qualification. Candidates should possess strong business development and communication skills, along with a basic understanding of technology infrastructure.

What You’ll Be Doing…

  • Develop and aggressively identify sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calls, and relationship development.
  • Understand and effectively communicate ScienceLogic’s value propositions.
  • Demonstrate superior tenacity and objection handling skills.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and partners in the IT Operations sector.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com consistently and accurately, emphasizing lead process and development.
  • Generate leads through expertise in identifying and developing new business prospects from various sources, including prospect lists, discovery, and individual research (sales, tradeshows, marketing, referrals, partners, website, consultants, and call campaigns).
  • Qualify all existing leads in Salesforce.com and ScienceLogic lead databases, as directed by the Inside Sales Management.

Qualities You Possess…

  • Over one year of experience within an inside sales organization.
  • Effective time management and the ability to reach decision-makers and qualify sales opportunities.
  • Ability to call into different industries.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, Outreach, and other sales playbooks.
