Requirements

  • BDM with a strong network in a given vertical or geography
  • Proven experience in sales or business development within hospitality, retail, F&B or mobility
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the Swiss market
  • Willingness to travel within the designated sales territory
  • Native German language skills and speaking of other local language or English is required

Responsibilities

  • Expand and secure the company's market position within Switzerland
  • Take sales responsibility for specific areas in terms of acquiring new customers
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual new business sales targets
  • Maximise revenue opportunities and ensure business profitability
  • Work closely with Partnership team to convert new business opportunities coming from referral partners (Industry Associations, Till system providers etc)
  • Conduct contract negotiations
  • Plan and conduct product presentations on-site or remotely for prospects and existing customers
  • Provide advice on our products and new developments to prospects
  • Represent Planet on key industry events, trade fairs and marketing activities in Switzerland to drive market awareness and pipeline growth
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding offers, contracts, and products
  • Liaise with other departments and our sales partners
  • Contribute to the broader sales team by sharing ideas and supporting colleagues
  • Monitor competitors and help sharpen Planet value proposition
