Requirements

  • Experienced Business Development Manager
  • Ability to position investment products to appropriate market segments
  • Proficient user of lead generation and sales management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Qlick)
  • Confidence and ability to generate new leads and develop relations with prospective clients over the phone
  • Solid understanding of Intermediary market and investment products, specifically multi-asset
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Must be 'fit and proper' under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR), including regulatory background checks

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen and develop relationships with key IFAs and Strategic Partners across the North of England
  • Represent and sell Aviva Investors’ investment capabilities and products to UK Wholesale clients
  • Build a robust pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client meetings using internal systems such as Salesforce and Qlick
  • Deliver on sales targets across Multi Asset Funds and other single asset class capabilities
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams including Client Services, Marketing, and MI Reporting
  • Act as the voice of clients by identifying trends in the UK Wholesale market
  • Work closely with Business Development Associates to strengthen regional relationships and support new business development
  • Mentor Business Development Associates to enhance their professional growth
  • Achieve specific client activity targets and develop effective client panels
  • Foster internal collaboration within Aviva Life Company for a seamless ‘One Aviva’ experience
