Position Overview

Humana is seeking a passionate and strategic Broker Relationship Manager (BRM) to join our caring community and contribute to the well-being of the Medicare population. This role is integral to achieving sales growth, improving results, and operational goals within the assigned market, while also coordinating on a national level. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting external field sales resources, including Agents, Agencies, and Partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all available resources to achieve sales growth, improve results, and operational goals within the assigned market.
  • Coordinate sales efforts on a national level.
  • Maintain and support all external field sales resources within the market (individual Agents, Agencies, and Partners).
  • Develop external market engagement and sales strategy in coordination with the Director, local markets, tele-sales executives, and account executives, including all sales support.
  • Collaborate with other BRMs to support national and regional Partners, ensuring a consistent Agent experience across all markets.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience in the Medicare industry.
  • Active Health Insurance license within the stated region, or the ability and willingness to obtain one within 90 days.
  • Prior experience with public speaking and presentations.
  • Prior experience using CRM tools, Sales/Marketing Resources, and Microsoft Office, with proficiency in TEAMS, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • This role is part of Humana's Driver Safety Program and requires a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits.
  • Must reside or be willing to relocate to the region (Colorado Springs/Denver).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual with the ability to speak, read, and write in both English and Spanish without limitations or assistance.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree.
  • Prior Sales leadership experience, including leading and training a team of sales associates, utilizing technology tools, and building relationships with communities and medical providers.

Additional Information

  • This role is considered "remote/work at home."
  • You must live within the region (Colorado Springs/Denver area) to be considered.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% within the region is required.
  • Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment provided by an outside vendor to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.
