Platform Trainer - Mortgage Broking

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Platform Trainer to join our team. This role focuses on training mortgage brokers on the effective use of Salestrekker 2.0, a key platform in residential lending. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage broking, platform training, or CRM coaching, with excellent communication and presentation skills.


Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a mortgage broker, platform trainer, or CRM coach within residential lending.
  • Platform Knowledge: Understanding of Salestrekker 2.0 (or similar equivalent platform offered by other aggregators) and its application in residential mortgage broking businesses.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for brokers.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work autonomously as a contractor and manage your own schedule.
  • Training Resource Development: Experience creating training resources (written, video, or interactive).
  • Technical Comfort: Comfortable with remote training technology and digital communication tools.
  • Desirable: Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or equivalent.

Responsibilities

As a Platform Trainer, you will:

  • Design and Deliver Training: Create and deliver training programs (virtual and in-person) tailored to residential mortgage brokers, focusing on Salestrekker 2.0 features and best practices for home loan origination and client management.
  • Broker Coaching: Provide one-on-one and group coaching to brokers, ensuring efficient use of Salestrekker 2.0 for workflow automation, compliance, and client service in residential lending.
  • Develop Training Resources: Create user guides, video tutorials, and FAQs to support ongoing learning and adoption of new Salestrekker 2.0 features.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert, providing feedback to the team on broker challenges and platform improvement opportunities.
  • Track and Report: Monitor and report on training outcomes, identifying further coaching needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, practical training sessions addressing brokers’ real-world challenges in residential lending.
  • Guide brokers through Salestrekker 2.0’s automation, workflow, and client management tools, with a focus on residential mortgage processes.
  • Support brokers in configuring lender settings and compliance workflows for residential loans.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and provide actionable solutions.
