Requirements

Ability to pass Ishihara's Color Blindness test (reasonable accommodations considered if failed)
Capable of moderately active physical work, including walking, standing for considerable lengths of time, and bending down to floor level
Ability to perform physical tasks such as repairing/maintaining equipment, with use of two-person assist program and equipment for heavier loads

Responsibilities

Maintain, test, and repair water treatment equipment, dialysis equipment, medical equipment, testing equipment, and mechanical/electrical systems per manufacturer recommendations and FMCNA procedures
Document all maintenance and repairs
Conduct and document safety checks and routine tasks timely
Perform housekeeping checks, follow up on issues, clean and disinfect water treatment equipment
Maintain and calibrate all testing equipment
Ensure areas are safe, clean, with maintained environmental integrity and aesthetics
Conduct building maintenance as needed
Coordinate medical waste disposal
Collect, organize, and restock supplies; assist in ordering/receiving disposables and creating SAP purchase orders
Assist in monthly/quarterly inventory of supplies with cost reporting; evaluate and report equipment inventory
Ensure visibility to patients via daily walk-throughs during treatments, reinforce UltraCare™ and customer service, provide tours/explanations of water treatment equipment
Process water and dialysate samples, package for shipping
Participate in technical QAPI activities documentation
Drive FMS culture through values and customer service standards; provide outstanding service, develop relationships, resolve issues timely
Provide assistance at other facilities/acute programs, transport equipment/supplies as needed
Other duties as assigned
