Requirements

  • Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain
  • Must reside in the designated local territory to effectively serve the community
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages
  • Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members’ homes and engaging with the community through service, organizations, volunteer work, or local events
  • Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements)
  • Subject to Humana’s Driving Safety and Vehicle Management Program, including driver license validation and MVR review
  • Must take Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test for language proficiency in Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Build trust and educate individuals on Humana’s Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage
  • Create meaningful, face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits—providing a personalized experience
  • Drive self-generated sales, meet performance goals, and expand Humana’s presence in the market by becoming a valued resource in the community
  • Engage with customers through a mix of in-person, virtual, and phone interactions, with face-to-face visits in prospective members’ homes as a key part
