Deel is seeking a Benefits Manager to shape and scale its global benefits programs for a diverse, distributed workforce. This role involves leading the design and launch of new benefits initiatives, managing renewals, fostering vendor partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence in all benefits processes. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation in the future of work, capable of balancing high-level strategy with detailed execution and cross-functional collaboration. The Benefits Manager will also act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and clients on complex benefits matters, aligning with Deel’s global mission.

Responsibilities

  • Launch new benefits programs from scratch.
  • Project manage renewals of existing policies.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and partners.
  • Develop materials to support Deel’s benefits offerings.
  • Tackle special projects within the benefits space.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on all benefits-related topics.
  • Create new processes to support Deel’s expanding operations.
  • Support clients in identifying suitable benefits solutions.
  • Resolve complex cross-team queries.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Benefits, either working for a broker or at a large start-up.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships, influence decisions, and communicate complex work clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • High level of ownership, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Operational experience running benefits plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Data-driven with advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in the future of work and evolving workplace trends.
  • Strong creative thinking skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
