Requirements

Candidates must have training beyond high school, such as an Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or a related field, or a combination of education and experience including skilled trades or military training. A minimum of 2 years of automation and/or industrial maintenance experience is required. Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI configuration, and control systems is preferred. Proficiency in standard computer skills, document organization, use of technical materials, and research techniques is necessary. The ability to function effectively in a team, interact productively with all levels of management and operations personnel, and possess critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Technical certifications are a plus. Candidates must reside in the United States and no sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

The Automation Technician will perform high-level machine and systems troubleshooting and repair. They will assist engineering and plant staff with the specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems. Additionally, the technician will provide technical support for all phases of the operation. This role involves proficiency in electricity and electronics, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.
