Position Overview

The Field Auditor for the RES service is responsible for collecting information regarding product categories of interest through a sample of establishments. This data allows for the estimation of the universe with adequate precision, a process known as the Master Sample of Retail Establishments. Data collection is performed using a methodology of visits to pre-planned AGEBs (Age-Sex Distribution Blocks) and city blocks.

Responsibilities

  • Data collection in retail and consumer establishments.
  • Familiarize yourself with the "Manual de Instrucciones para el Encuestador de la Muestra Maestra" (Master Sample Surveyor Instruction Manual).
  • Properly utilize maps to navigate fieldwork locations using CDAR Mobile (city blocks and rural localities).
  • Visit all selected city blocks within all selected urban AGEBs.
  • Complete the scheduled questionnaire in DCT for all establishments.
  • Update information on the universe of retail (RMS) and consumer (OP) establishments, including:
    • Number of establishments.
    • Sales volume by establishment type.
    • Physical characteristics of establishments.
    • Establishment type classification.

Requirements

  • Field Experience: Any fieldwork experience, including detail sales, field research, door-to-door sales, surveying, or promotion.
  • Education: Completed secondary education (verifiable).
  • Travel Availability: 100% availability to travel is indispensable. This job is ideal if you enjoy traveling, as travel expenses and transportation support are provided.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: $8,364 gross per month.
  • Transportation Support: $650 gross per month.
  • Direct Employment Contract: Contract directly with the company.
