The role requires hands-on experience extracting reports from HR systems like Workday or SAP, intermediate to advanced proficiency in data management using SQL or Microsoft Fabric, and intermediate to advanced skills in analytics/statistical tools such as R or Python. Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI is also preferred. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States full-time, as Lilly will not provide sponsorship for work authorization or visas. Additional preferences include project management experience, a solid understanding of Human Resources data and processes, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, excellent communication abilities, a high level of detail orientation, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
The Associate - People Analytics Data Engineer will be responsible for building the data foundations for People Analytics AI-enabled products and ensuring data readiness for integrated analytics. This includes streamlining data management, building automated data pipelines, and creating data products for People Analytics to enhance business intelligence within the HR function. The role involves building, maintaining, and managing security pipelines for People Analytics products to mitigate compliance risks and ensure controlled access. Additionally, the engineer will develop People Analytics-specific data products using Python and Microsoft Fabric for efficient data integration into PowerBI, and construct robust semantic data models for AI-ready dashboards to promote self-service analytics. Responsibilities also include managing continuous data updates, automating data pipelines, partnering with HR Technology and IT for data integration into the HR Enterprise Data Warehouse, and managing team documentation and business continuity plans.
