Responsibilities

  • Manage the Onsite Events Team, setting clear goals and expectations to deliver exceptional experiences for employees that align with the divisional strategy
  • Develop and execute strategy for local employee engagement events and activities (40+ annually), across varied employee populations and shifts
  • Own budget and spend to achieve desired Engagement Strategy outcomes
  • Oversee the building event planning process and facilitate the sharing of information between onsite event leads and internal Stryker teams such as Facilities, the Instruments Experience Center, IS and Security
  • Manage the customer and guest tour process including scheduling of tour guides, tracking of attendees, creating and delivering training, updating needed materials and building access across two sites, in collaboration with GQO
  • Partner with the Inclusion Council to ensure implementation of yearly initiatives
  • Lead the Kalamazoo-based cross-divisional events collaboration, including acting as lead on Kalamazoo campus programs
  • Establish relationships with immediate team, onsite vendors and internal customers to provide a collaborative approach to the successful planning and implementation of all events and programs
  • Establish Employee Engagement communications plan and process in partnership with Strategic Communications team. Ensure execution of plan at the divisional and site level
  • Manage the administration for all onsite events not hosted by the Engagement Team at 1941
  • Act as a building lead for external (non-Stryker inquiries) and public Stryker-hosted events and tours
  • Manage program effectiveness. Establish frameworks and processes to measure impact for divisional programs. Provide regular updates to leadership on impact and budget performance
  • Keep current with internal and external employee engagement trends to foster high attendee engagement and interaction
  • Act in the best interest of Stryker, reflecting the values of teamwork, collaboration, and mutual respect
