The Associate Director, Program Management must have experience leading large, complex engagements with multiple product work teams, including Loyalty Strategy & Product Design and development. Require experience working with Global delivery teams and projects of a technical focus. This position requires an extremely detail-oriented, proactive solutions-focused leader. Client industry experience is preferred but not required. Excellent strategic, analytical and problem solving skills are necessary, along with the ability to inspire positivity and confidence among interdepartmental teams. The role also involves managing and/or mentoring junior team members and contributing to departmental staffing and problem solving.
The Associate Director, Program Management will be involved throughout the entire lifecycle of a project from kickoff to launch. Responsibilities include interpreting client briefs, establishing project requirements, roles, responsibilities, priorities, and deadlines. They will create detailed project plans, including staffing plans and budgets, and prepare internal project briefs. The role involves tracking project progress, providing regular recaps and status reports to clients and stakeholders, and leading complex projects to deliver quality work on time and on budget. They will adapt quickly to solve problems, manage risks and mitigation, and handle changes in project scope, schedule, or budget. The Associate Director will manage client relationships and communication, ensuring high-quality service and acting on client feedback. They are responsible for keeping all projects updated in internal project management tools, communicating new project requests, timeline shifts, and financial tracking to senior teams, and monitoring multiple project workflows. Additionally, they must identify project teams in partnership with Senior Account Managers and Directors and escalate operational, resource, budget, or timeline issues when necessary.
