Candidates should possess at least 5 years of high-volume, fast-paced event production experience, a self-starter mentality with a passion for innovation, strong organizational and time management skills, and demonstrated ability to manage and negotiate event budgets with limited supervision. They must also have experience in show-calling, stage management, and producing live (in-person or virtual) open-press events, along with strong proficiency in Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects) and familiarity with project management software (e.g., Wrike).
The Associate Director of Production will lead the creation and execution of Axios Live’s editorial events, both in-person and virtual, overseeing all production operations including pre-production logistics, livestream execution, vendor coordination, show-calling, stage management, and post-event editing.
