The VP of Events should possess 8+ years of experience leading large-scale, high-impact event programs for high-growth B2B companies, with healthcare experience being a plus. Candidates must demonstrate success in exceeding event KPIs for pipeline, revenue attribution, and attendee satisfaction, and have mastery of modern event tech, exceptional project management skills, and extreme attention to detail. Strong budget management and contract negotiation skills are also required, along with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and external partners.
In this role, the VP of Events will build a differentiated event platform to showcase Garner’s thought leadership and deepen engagement with key audiences, partnering with the broader Marketing team, Sales, and Product to translate event moments into pipeline growth, customer success touchpoints, and brand amplification. They will also establish an operational model that consistently delivers exceptional quality, exceeds event KPIs, and scales with Garner’s rapid growth, owning the end-to-end event strategy, calendar, and budget, defining event OKRs, developing playbooks and vendor management frameworks, curating speakers and agendas, and collaborating with the Revenue team to translate event engagement into qualified pipeline and customer expansion.
