About Huntress

Huntress is a fully remote, global team of passionate experts and ethical badasses on a mission to break down the barriers to cybersecurity. Whether creating purpose-built security solutions, hunting down hackers, or impacting our community, our people go above and beyond to change the security game and make a real difference.

Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress protects all businesses—not just the 1%—with enterprise-grade, fully owned, and managed cybersecurity products at the price of an affordable SaaS application. The Huntress difference is our One Team advantage: our technology is designed with our industry-defining Security Operations Center (SOC) in mind and is never separated from our service.

We protect 3M+ endpoints and 1M+ identities worldwide, elevating underresourced IT teams with protection that works as hard as they do. As long as hackers keep hacking, Huntress keeps hunting.

Role Overview

As the Sr. Virtual Event Manager, you will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of our global virtual events and experiences. In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for building influential, content-rich programs that are not only designed to drive engagement, generate pipeline, but also build an audience following that elevates our brand voice in the market.

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll own and create memorable, high-performing experiences that cut through noise and convert attention into action. You’ll own the concept of pre and post-event reporting—and work closely with marketing, product marketing, sales, and leadership to ensure our virtual event strategy aligns with business and brand priorities. The ideal candidate excels at the intersection of storytelling, production, and execution, and knows how to transform speakers into influencers, content into conversions, and sessions into tangible results.

Responsibilities

Virtual Event Planning & Execution

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for virtual events that align with business goals, campaign themes, brand awareness, and audience personas
  • Own and build multi-touch content programs and ongoing event series (e.g. Tradecraft Tuesday, Product Lab, Fireside Chat, educational tracks, themed virtual event series) that drive consistent engagement
  • Own influencer and industry speaker sourcing—partnering with internal SMEs, third-party experts, and external vendors to elevate credibility and reach
  • Build and own recruitment and promotion plans, coordinating speakers, and managing content alignment that drives virtual event attendance
  • Own content development and compelling virtual event content frameworks from planning to production, including storyboarding, scripting, and visual direction to shape narratives that resonate with target audiences
  • Strategically build the vision and create bold, creative event formats that break through noise (fireside chats, co-branded shows, podcast-style formats, etc.)
  • Own and lead technical execution and run-of-show, including platform management, speaker rehearsals, AV production, and live/on-demand delivery
  • Create post-event follow-up packages with content, lead insights, and repurposing plans (snippets, clips, blog support)
  • Analyze performance data (registrations, attendance, engagement, influenced pipeline) and deliver insights with actionable recommendations
  • Coordinate the virtual event budget end-to-end, ensuring strategic allocation of resources and cost efficiency across all programs
  • Brand Advocacy: Serve as a brand ambassador for Huntress, fostering strong relationships with customers, partners, prospects, and internal stakeholders while ensuring brand consistency and excellence across all virtual event touchpoints.
