Candidates should possess strong therapeutic and technical expertise to engage in scientific discussions with investigators and site personnel. They must be able to establish and maintain professional relationships with investigator sites, develop strategies for concierge-level support, and track key performance metrics. Experience in establishing and managing partnerships with local Patient Advocacy Groups (PAGs) and communities is also required. The role necessitates identifying investigator sites, PAGs, and communities that align with portfolio strategy and priorities to expand Gilead's clinical research partnership network.
The Associate Director- Clinical Site Partner will optimize the delivery of clinical trial programs by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with investigator sites, leveraging disease area expertise. They will develop strategies to provide exceptional support to preferred sites, aiming to make Gilead the Sponsor of Choice. Responsibilities include tracking site performance metrics for continuous improvement, managing partnerships with local PAGs and communities for protocol development and study design input, and serving as an internal resource to champion the patient perspective. The role involves sharing pipeline information with investigators and communities, collecting field intelligence on the competitive landscape, and supporting study teams and CROs to ensure timely trial delivery from initiation to closeout. This includes assisting with feasibility, site recommendations, initiation visits, and facilitating communication to overcome enrollment barriers. Additionally, the Associate Director will support the development and implementation of site risk plans to meet study milestones and act as a local escalation point for investigator sites, partnering to resolve issues and remove barriers to clinical trial execution.
