Requirements

  • Must be based within the New England area (MA, NH, ME, RI, CT, VT)
  • Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others
  • Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior aligned with the firm’s culture
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Generate, prospect, solicit, and close new accounts
  • Begin to retain existing clients
  • Identify and generate new sales opportunities through analysis and discovery
  • Participate in sales meetings to review sales activities and prospective customers with leadership
  • Develop a full working knowledge of commercial lines products and procedures
  • Learn to present proposals professionally, reviewing coverages in detail to ensure understanding
  • Maintain an understanding and knowledge of insurance industry and underwriting criteria for Insurance Company Partners
