Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an Art Director or Senior Designer, with a focus on CRM creative in the e-commerce or digital marketing space
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field
  • A strong portfolio showcasing CRM campaigns, email design, and customer engagement work across multiple channels
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); knowledge of After Effects or Cinema 4D is a plus
  • Experience with CRM platforms and tools, and a deep understanding of how to tailor creative for emails, push notifications, and SMS
  • Strong typography, composition, and visual storytelling skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to craft visually engaging and effective content
  • Proven experience leading creative projects from concept to execution

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative direction for eBay’s US CRM campaigns, including emails, push notifications, SMS, and other customer communications, ensuring content resonates with US customers and drives engagement
  • Occasionally concept, design, and execute creative for CRM channels, with a focus on customer retention, loyalty, and brand advocacy
  • Ensure brand consistency by adapting eBay’s global brand guidelines to align with the specific tone, voice, and customer needs of the US market
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, design, and copy, to create CRM campaigns that are both visually impactful and strategically aligned with eBay’s marketing goals
  • Present feedback and pitch concepts to stakeholders, including CRM, marketing, and other key teams, ensuring that your vision is communicated clearly and persuasively
  • Optimize and iterate creative campaigns based on performance data, customer feedback, and market trends, continuously improving campaign outcomes
  • Work closely with external agencies to guide the execution of CRM creative while ensuring it aligns with eBay’s standards and US market needs
  • Collaborate with localization teams to ensure all content is culturally relevant and linguistically accurate for US customers
  • Occasional travel may be required for team collaboration or photoshoots
