Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, college, or military education program (OR high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in servicing biomedical equipment)
  • Five years or more of Biomedical Technology Leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Act as the single point of contact to the customer for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns covering a wide variety of support services offered for assigned region, product, or coverage area
  • Establish and maintain contact to provide on-going technical and business support to assigned customers in designated geographic region or coverage area
  • Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline
  • Responsible for all resources and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property, including all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering
  • Hire and develop talent, including direct people management responsibility such as staffing and performance development
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy
  • Use knowledge of best practices, integration with other areas, competition, and market differentiators
  • Use judgment to propose solutions outside set parameters for complicated processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience, lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements, explain information, develop skills to bring team members to consensus, convey performance expectations, and handle sensitive issues
  • Function with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results, allowing modification of procedures and practices as long as end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.)
