Requirements

  • Technical affinity and ability to read technical plans or learn this quickly
  • Experience in technical B2B sales, ideally from HVAC, industrial techniques, or project-based environments
  • Comfortable in competitive markets and confident in negotiating
  • Strong focus on prospecting and ability to spot opportunities at piping companies, engineering firms, and industrial players
  • Fluent in Dutch and proficient in French to communicate smoothly with customers
  • Works independently, plans ahead, and keeps track of annual budgets and targets
  • Proactive, eager to learn attitude and dares to ask questions until fully understanding the technical puzzle

Responsibilities

  • Actively work the industrial segment in Wallonia and identify new projects in areas such as industrial heating, power generation, food, and marine
  • Follow up on tenders and price inquiries, ensuring quotes are prepared timely and completely via the engineering team in Middelburg
  • Build long-term relationships with project leaders, work preparers, engineering offices, and installers
  • Spot opportunities early by analyzing market trends, investment plans, and technical specifications
  • Maintain existing customers and actively pursue new business, with a focus on annual results
  • Independently plan your workweek: from home office, on the road, and occasionally at the office (about 1x/month)
  • Accurately register pipeline, actions, and follow-ups in the CRM system
  • Represent Schiedel as a reliable technical partner during site visits and project meetings
