The Area Sales Manager (Aurangabad) is required to have experience in sales and a strong understanding of the digital payments landscape, particularly in the context of UPI-based payments. They should possess leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of Business Development Executives/Rural Team Leads, and demonstrate a proven ability to drive merchant acquisition and retention within a defined geographical area.
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for growing the PhonePe merchant network through acquisition and servicing, conducting audits and reviews to ensure quality execution, meeting with merchants to present products and manage escalations, monitoring competition within the assigned territory, driving acquisition and winback productivity to ensure a positive return on investment, and ensuring payout closure and NOCs are handled effectively. They will also manage a team of 8-10 BDE/RTLs and report to the Area Sales Manager.
