Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, specifically within the payments industry with a strong preference for experience in the lending sector, an in-depth understanding of payment processes, solutions, and the regulatory landscape relevant to the lending industry, a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in enterprise-level B2B sales, a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, and exceptional ability to communicate and present effectively to high-level executives and decision-makers. Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and experience with the Challenger Sales Methodology is preferred. Additionally, up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and the payments and lending sector is required.

Responsibilities

As an Account Executive, you will strategically expand PayNearMe’s presence within large accounts, focusing on the lending industry and adjacent sectors, engage in daily business development activities including lead follow-up and targeted account prospecting, achieve and exceed bi-annual sales quotas while maintaining a robust sales pipeline through Salesforce.com, achieve and maintain attainment targets for launched accounts, master and maintain comprehensive knowledge of PayNearMe’s product suite, challenge prospects existing business processes and educate on new technologies, identify key buying personas and ability to discuss relevant business challenges for each, lead the team to effectively respond to Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI), provide feedback and market intelligence to the marketing and product development teams, and participate in post-sale project meetings to ensure launch attainment for secured deals.
