Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2–3 years of experience in client service or financial services preferred (motivated recent graduates with degrees in Finance, Law, Accounting, or Information Systems will also be considered)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in brokerage or corporate banking preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to handle client concerns with professionalism and diplomacy
  • Strong research, investigative, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and firm initiatives simultaneously
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively while managing multiple responsibilities
  • Prior experience in financial services, exceptional attention to detail, and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries and concerns from retail and institutional clients via in-person meetings, phone, email, and online messaging
  • Research and resolve a wide range of client questions related to the account opening process
  • Manage multiple tasks with a strong emphasis on AML and KYC compliance while handling incoming client queries
  • Learn all aspects of the IBA brokerage platform and policies to offer compliant solutions that address client concerns
  • Collaborate with Legal & Compliance, Developers, and Project Managers to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal procedures
  • Identify, analyze, and escalate complex issues as needed
  • Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Take personal responsibility for understanding client needs and delivering a high-value experience
  • Work efficiently and independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Coordinate with New Accounts and Risk Assessment teams to evaluate financial crime risks
