A solid grasp of ITIL-based IT service management best practices, cloud-based computing (specifically AWS), and policy compliance for SOX and Audit is essential. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in visually summarizing information through presentations, working with outsourced third-party suppliers, translating requirements into technical solutions, and functioning in a product owner or business analyst capacity. Experience collaborating with technology and business SMEs to document processes and data requirements is also necessary.
The Application Owner will serve as the primary expert on application functionality, evolving its configuration to meet business needs and supporting ongoing enhancement and maintenance. This includes gathering and prioritizing requirements, developing product roadmaps, and leading the delivery of large projects that combine technology and business objectives. The role involves managing all aspects of development and release, including project initiation, planning, tracking, financial control, governance, and resourcing, throughout the IT application lifecycle. Responsibilities also include managing application controls, service levels, access rights, and overall operations, leading support for production issues, and partnering with other departments. The Application Owner must accurately document current and target state application architectures, ensure compliance with IT policies and security requirements, and support audit teams in remediating issues and participating in internal/external audits.
