Responsibilities

  • Generate and develop sales and product awareness through customer visits, product information, samples, and trials
  • Follow up on new leads from marketing activities, presentations, and workshops
  • Plan and implement sales initiatives with Account Manager to address business needs
  • Record and manage activities in Salesforce.com
  • Collaborate with Account Manager to research and identify new customers (e.g., current LBS users, non-LBS users, clinical/research customers)
  • Identify and qualify opportunities for consumables, reagents, and instrumentation sales
  • Lead retention visits to key accounts and record activities as requested
  • Initiate and coordinate demos at customer sites and lead visits at LBS facilities
  • Participate in seminars, meetings, and value stream mapping to promote products
  • Supply market share, competitor activities, trends, and developments to Sales Management and Marketing
  • Record customer contacts in CRM systems
  • Perform training and support (as indicated in the description)
