Requirements

  • Minimum 1 to 5 years of experience (including internships) in investment banking, consulting, transaction advisory, private equity, or funds investing in the equity market
  • Experience in leading or actively participating in ECM projects, including those under time pressure
  • Knowledge of the equity market, including conducted transactions and market participants
  • Knowledge of regulations governing the capital market
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in market analysis, financial analysis, financial modeling, and valuation preparation
  • Very good proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Capital IQ and Bloomberg Professional is an additional advantage
  • Fluent English skills in speaking and writing
  • Ease in establishing contacts and effective communication skills
  • Innate discipline and strong motivation for continuous skill development

Responsibilities

  • Participation and execution of prestigious ECM projects (IPO/SPO/ABB/takeover bids/share buybacks)
  • Analysis of markets and companies, and presenting them in the form of presentations
  • Preparation and verification of materials used in ECM transactions, including prospectuses, management presentations, analyst and investor presentations, and pitchbooks
  • Valuations using multiplier methods and DCF
  • Participation in meetings with clients, their advisors, investors, and banks
  • Regular contacts with founders and managements of companies, leading enterprises, financial institutions, private equity funds, and advisory firms in Poland and abroad
  • Regular collaboration with international M&A, ECM teams, and relationship bankers within the Santander Group
