Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in companies focused on Environmental Studies, Environmental Licensing, Environmental Due Diligence (audit for area licensing release), SGSMS and SGI, preferably in continuous process industries similar to the contract sites
  • Knowledge of technical standards and legislation related to Environmental Licensing applicable to the oil and gas sector
  • Proficiency in handling computerized environmental licensing systems
  • Basic English reading skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software
  • Ability to communicate with communities and make presentations
  • Teamwork capability
  • Knowledge in analysis and administrative management of legal compliance, contract management and oversight
  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Economics, Accounting, Geography, Law, Environmental Management, or related fields
  • Specialization with minimum 40 hours in Internal or External ISO 14001, 45001, 9001 Auditor, SGI Auditor, Environmental Licensing, Waste Management, or related areas; and/or postgraduate degree in Environment, Occupational Safety, Quality, SMS, Oil and Gas, Planning, Project Management, Economic Management, Auditing, Expertise, Environmental Licensing, Business Management, or related fields

Responsibilities

  • Experience preferably in Oil and Gas, capable of preparing or supporting the team in managing information systems and demands related to Environmental Projects/Programs/Plans involving Federal, State, and/or Municipal Environmental Agencies, and other Programs/Projects/Plans related to environmental licensing management and processes
  • Maintain QSMS, contractual, and legal indicators, mapping company risks/aspects to minimize environmental damages/impacts
  • Manage the Contracting Plan and contract management, assisting in contractual compatibility and optimizing company costs
