Candidates must possess 10 to 15 years of direct business-to-business sales experience in a consultative/solution-oriented selling environment and 5 to 7 years of experience in reseller engagements or business development is a plus. A Bachelor of Arts or Science degree is required, along with demonstrated knowledge of enterprise-wide business information solutions and strong knowledge of technology and its application to solve customer business needs. Proven ability to consistently hit sales targets over an extended period (3-5 years) and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
The Alliance Manager III will be responsible for meeting and surpassing annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue goals through new partner acquisition and growing existing partnerships, as well as managing partner retention, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities. This role involves prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing new partnerships, acting as the lead on new opportunities, and ensuring internal alignment with various business units. Responsibilities include articulating a clear understanding of D&B's products and content, creating compelling use cases, building senior-level executive relationships with partners, and embedding within customer environments to understand and influence their business models. The manager will also establish and maintain expertise in prospective partner use cases, participate in industry events, and create and execute quarterly account plans for top partners/prospects.
