Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. Required experience includes 10+ years, or 7+ years with a Master's degree, or 2+ years with a Ph.D. Experience in building and deploying Machine Learning solutions using various ML algorithms, hands-on Python programming, and building IT use cases/solutions around AI/ML cognitive services and platforms are essential. A strong understanding of Machine Learning techniques, feature analysis, algorithm selection, model hyperparameter tuning, and experience with NLP/NLG, AI Conversational Agents & Other Generative AI are also required. Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, Azure Databricks, CloudDBs, and reviewing/selecting Technical and Applications Architectures solutions is necessary. Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills are mandatory, along with preferred team leadership experience and demonstrated mentorship capabilities.

Responsibilities

The AI/Machine Learning Engineer will lead AI/ML platform and engineering strategy, including Generative AI and Advanced Analytics, and drive alignment on architecture adoption and realization. They will offer thought leadership and technical advice to leadership, develop technical architecture standards and guidelines, and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build production-level models and pipelines. Responsibilities also include optimizing AI/ML processes, assisting in model performance monitoring, communicating technical solutions to non-IT stakeholders, and facilitating product selection aligned with architectural standards.
