Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or marketing
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading and/or managing teams, preferably in the life science industry
  • Experience selling to researchers and companies that perform Biologics research and production
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM as well as MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with a proven track record in achieving results, goals, and job metrics
  • Professional, self-starter, organized, and driven individual
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple activities/projects, priorities, and people in a fast-paced, high-growth, results-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Forecast and manage monthly and quarterly aftermarket sales bookings and revenue for the team
  • Work closely with Regional Sales and Service Managers, Finance, DBSLO, and Marketing to identify new aftermarket sales programs and improve customer satisfaction with aftermarket sales
  • Develop go-to-market action plans through growth room and other DBS activities to specify competitive advantage to customers through service offerings and pricing structures and create a strategy for value selling to customers
  • Continuously implement and improve standard work for the aftermarket sales team, develop KPIs, sales objectives, targets, and tracking tools for business growth
  • Acquire and develop talent and adapt workforce competencies to meet evolving business needs while effectively managing change
  • Develop talent and team to be problem-solvers
  • Manage the team to achieve growth and booking targets for North American service plan sales
