Position Overview

As a member of the Solution Consulting team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Solution Sales and driving revenue for one of our key products. You will work in close partnership with Sales, Product Management, and the executive team. This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep expertise in solution delivery and positioning within sales cycles.


Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical consultant with the advanced ability to develop, position, and provide product-specific solutions during sales cycles.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.
  • Support product sales as a technical and domain expert for a client-facing sales team within the financial services industry.
  • Lead discovery workshops to identify customer challenges.
  • Deliver product demonstrations tailored to align our solution with customer needs.
  • Respond to product feature and technical inquiries from customers, channel partners, and ServiceNow colleagues.
  • Provide feedback to product management on product enhancements to address customer needs and add value.
  • Share and learn best practices and reusable assets with other Solution Consultants to improve team quality and efficiency.
  • Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
  • Support marketing events, including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.

Qualifications

  • Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving (e.g., using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, exploring AI's impact).
  • 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services.
  • Territory management skills, including pipeline building and guiding execution excellence with Sales counterparts.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Pay: $146,625 to $241,950 (guideline, actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location).
  • Incentive Compensation: Sales positions typically offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
  • Equity: Potential for equity participation.
